I set up a simple primitive tarp shelter using paracord between two trees. Next I use primitive cooking technology and primitive technology to prepare a wild rabbit for cooking over an open fire. Cooking over open fire is simply a matter of keeping the right temperature on the meat by correcting for elevation. Surviving the winter is easy when you undertand how to keep yourself warm and dry.
